Sales Engineer

About this Job

We are looking for someone with a desire and skills to interact with various business units within our customers to facilitate business growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Ebco products and services
  • Develop relationships with key accounts and foster additional growth opportunities
  • Develop, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with key account managers, engineers, and various divisions at Ebco as required
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans
  • Apply basic engineering knowledge to aid in developing applications
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Travel to prospects and customers for this position is 30-50%

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiating, and selling skills
  • Ability to provide uncompromised customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in computer skills: Microsoft Office, CRM
  • Familiarity with basic engineering and manufacturing principles
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Technical skills, such a blueprint reading, preferred

Location

This position can be based in Elgin, IL or Knoxville, TN.
